(Marian Wallen, BNFF Swimming Coach)
The Beatrice, Norris, Fairbury and Freeman swim and dive team had their last home meet against Lincoln Pius. Both the boy’s and girl’s teams fell short to the Pius X teams. Pius always has a large number of quality swimmers and brings a strong completion to our swimmers.
It was also senior recognition night. We have 11 seniors graduating this year; 4 time state competitors and 4 time letter winners Keegan Schuchart, Austin Barber, Regan Monhollon, Taylor Larkins, and Ainsley Hostetler. 2 time state qualifier, Ben Gascon, also Ben Wolzen, Caylee Clausen, Michaela Behn, and Makayla Rohrer. They will all be greatly missed next year and we wish them all the best in their futures.
