It was an exciting opening to the 2017 football season for the Diller-Odell Griffins as they faced off against the McCool Junction Mustangs. The Griffins’ strong defense prevented the Mustangs from reaching the end zone, while their offense easily navigated the field, scoring a total of 40 points in the first three quarters. However, in the final quarter, the Mustangs broke free, putting 15 points on the board. Diller-Odell maintained their lead over McCool Junction, claiming victory with a final score of 40-15.
