Learn about the latest recommendations for treating athletes with concussion at an educational session at Jefferson Community Health & Life on Thursday, Aug. 3. Travis Kostal, PT, DPT, will present at this free session designed for coaches and parents. The session will be held at 12 p.m. in the Conference Rooms and includes lunch. Lunch will be provided compliments of Jefferson Community Health & Life. Please pre-register by calling JCH&L at 402-729- 6840 by Tuesday, Aug. 1.
Kostal will discuss the latest recommendations from the 5th International Conference on Concussion in Sport. The importance of concussion treatment and the potential severity of concussion as a health concern for athletes has become an important consideration in sports in the past decade. Treatment and recommendations continue to evolve as the understanding of the injury increases.
