After a slow start to the game with no score in the first quarter, the Fairbury Jeffs rallied to a victory over the Raymond Central Mustangs, 35-12, for the title of District Champions. This was Fairbury’s final home game of the regular season, and many came to show support for the Jeffs.

Also before the game, the Fairbury Booster Club hosted the final tailgate meal of the season, serving food to help raise money for the organization:
Throughout the game, the cheerleaders had a helping hand from youngsters eager to cheer on Fairbury through the help of a cheer clinic:
The Jeffs entered the game with a strong defense, but were affected by a number of turn overs. The spirit of the game changed when Patrick Ondrak ran the ball into the end zone in the second quarter for the first touchdown of the game. From there, the Jeffs started a scoring streak in the third quarter. Even after the Mustangs scored two touchdowns, they were unable to stop Fairbury.
