These are the very latest law enforcement records from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and from the Fairbury Police Department as of November 3, 2017:
From the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office:
October 27: Jerold E. Ebke was traveling south on Highway 15 in a 2016 GMC when a deer came out of the ditch and ran into the vehicle. There was $4,000 of damage to the vehicle.
From the Fairbury Police Department:
October 23: Report of a disturbance in the 800 block of D Street.
October 24: Report of trespassing in the 300 block of Eighth Street.
October 24: Juvenile complaint.
October 26: Report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of E Street.
October 26: Report of dogs running at large in the 200 block of 13th Street.
October 27: Dog complaint in the 1100 block of Sixth Street.
October 28: Report of a person passed out on the side of the road in the 800 block of H Street.
October 28: Report of trespassing in the 700 block of C Street.
October 28: Report of a domestic assault in the 1400 block of D Street.
October 28: James L. Boyer was traveling eastbound on Fourth Street in a 2016 Buick when the vehicle entered the intersection of Fourth and H Streets. Angela F. Gardener was northbound on H Street in a 1992 Buick when it collided with the front passenger side of Boyer’s vehicle. Boyer’s vehicle then ran left of the roadway and came to rest in a residential yard. Gardner’s vehicle ran right off of H Street and came to rest on Fourth Street. Gardner stated that she slowed down to look for oncoming traffic then proceeded. Boyer stated he did not see Gardener. There was $15,000 of damage to Boyer’s vehicle and Gardner’s vehicle was totaled.
October 29: Report of domestic assault in the 800 block of B Street. Female arrested for domestic assault.
October 29: Male arrested on warrant in the 700 block of C Street.
October 30: Mike O. Lofing was eastbound on Sixth Street in a 2006 Chevrolet as Charles W. Abbott was southbound on I Street in a 2002 Mitsubishi. Abbott’s vehicle collided with Lofing’s vehicle in the intersection of the two streets. Abbott accepted fault for the collision. Both were treated for injuries. There was a total of $2,500 of damage to Abbott’s vehicle and Lofing’s vehicle was totaled.
October 30: Report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Seventh Street.
October 30: Report of harassment.
October 31: Report of criminal mischief in the 1100 block of L Street.
November 1: Report of criminal mischief in the 1200 block of Seventh Street.
November 2: Dominique M. Cherry stated he backed his 2008 Jeep out of his driveway to the west and backed into a 2012 Chevrolet owned by Brian Troxel that was parked on 12th Street facing east. There was no damage reported to Cherry’s vehicle and $1,100 of damage to Troxel’s.
