These are the latest law enforcement records from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and from the Fairbury Police Department as of October 27, 2017:

From The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office:

October 24: Marah H. Shumard was traveling north on Highway 15 in a 2006 Subaru when a deer came out of the east ditch, making contact with the right rear corner of her vehicle. There was $1,000 of damage done to Shumard’s vehicle.

From The Fairbury Police Department:

October 20: Report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Fourth Street. Two females arrested for disturbing the peace.

October 20: Kevin Powell reported that an unknown vehicle hit the front bumper of his 2014 Nissan. An officer observed damage to the front of the bumper and the front license plate. Powell believes that his vehicle was hit in the parking lot of the place he works. There was a total of $500 of damage to the vehicle.

October 20: Report of a burglary in the 600 block of Sixth Street.

October 20: Arrest on outstanding warrant in the 1400 block of Fourth Street.

October 21: Report of a theft in the 1100 block of B Street.

October 22: Report of a theft from a vehicle in the 1000 block of D Street.

October 22: Report of suspicious activity in the 700 block of E Street.

October 22: Report of a civil dispute in the 1400 block of Fourth Street.

October 22: Report of a suspicious person in 700 block of E Street.

October 23: Animal complaint in the 1000 block of E Street.

October 23: Report of a drug violation in the 800 block of D Street.

October 23: Male arrested on a warrant in the 1500 block of Ninth Street.

October 23: Male Arrested in the 800 block of D Street.

October 24: Report of a vicious dog in the 900 block of Lindell Street.
