Faith Novotny, of Diller, has been selected to attend the 2017 Junior Law Cadet Program in Grand Island.
The Junior Law Cadet Program is a chance for juniors in the state to compete for a week long adventure at the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island. The Cadets will be educated on the career of law enforcement officers and their task of providing service and protection to the community.
The Odell American Legion is sponsoring Novotny on this once of a life time journey. Novotny is grateful for the opportunity to learn more about what law enforcement officers do.
“This is a really exciting chance, and I’m glad to be able to learn more about this career and what it takes to protect the community,” said Novotny.
The Junior Law Cadet Program, which will be hosted in June, is co-sponsored by the Nebraska American Legion and the Nebraska State Patrol.
Faith is the daughter of Jerrod and Tracie Novotny.
