The Western Community Club held their annual breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th. Pancakes, sausage, and eggs were served at the Firehall from 10:30AM-1PM. Over 150 people were served at the breakfast. The Easter Egg Hunt started at 1:30 at the park. The kids were put into 3 different groups by age levels for the hunt and all were invited to play games after the event and were each given a goody bag. Thank you to everyone who came to our community event and to those who help put it on!
To keep up with all Western events please follow us on Facebook at “Western, NE the village, not the general area.” We plan to schedule some dates to have movies in the park for the summer and of course the Old Settlers’ Picnic will be July 15th, which will have the car show, tractor show, craft show, fun run/walk, cornhole tournament, sand volleyball tournament, parade, and inflatable rides and carnival games.
